A cookie is a small file a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for the site to function. Others are optional and only set if you agree.

Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Refusing is a single click and is exactly as easy as accepting — no dark patterns, no pre-ticked boxes. Essential cookies are always on because the site cannot work without them.

To change your mind, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and reload the page. The banner will ask again.

Essential cookies

Always active. They do not track you and cannot be switched off.

• wordpress_logged_in_* — keeps you signed in to your trade account. Session or up to 14 days if you tick “remember me”.
• woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart — hold your order together while you browse. Session.
• wp_woocommerce_session_* — links your browser to your basket. 48 hours.
• jcc_consent — remembers your cookie choice so we stop asking. One year.
• jcc_key, jc_form_key — return what you typed into a form if it fails validation, so you do not retype it. 15 minutes.

Analytics cookies

Only set if you accept them. They tell us which pages are used and where people give up, so we can fix what is not working. We use Google Consent Mode, so nothing is written to storage until you agree.

• _ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics. Distinguishes visitors and sessions. Up to two years.

IP addresses are anonymised before storage. Google Signals and Google advertising features are not enabled on this site.

Security cookies

Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which may set cookies to tell people from automated traffic. This is a security measure, not tracking, and Google’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) and terms (opens in a new tab) apply.

Blocking cookies yourself

Every browser lets you block or delete cookies in its settings. Blocking essential cookies will stop you signing in or placing an order — that is a limitation of how the web works, not a choice we have made.
